Wise Water DrinkersThese are though times. One thing you can usually count on is
that water is FREE. From the fountain to the tap, water is always something you can afford
to pour into your reusable water bottle or drinking container. It's a fact that water:
- Is essential for life.
- Represents two-thirds of our body weight.
- Is part
of every living cell.
- Is the means for all metabolic changes (digestion, absorption, and excretion).
- Is required for proper
muscle and nervous systems function.
-Transports nutrients and all body substances.
- Helps maintain body temperature, especially
cooling.
- Acts as a lubricant.
- Is required for the removal and excretion of waste. - Helps curb
the appetite.
So drink, drink, drink more water. Only in certain medical conditions is it recommended that water
may be limited. Learn more about water in Chapter 2 of FOOD, Field to Fork or write me with your
questions by clicking the WRITE THE AUTHOR link
at the bottom of this page.
