Nutritious Tax Time Tips for 2024

Never give up.

Drink to help you think ---- drink plenty of water. Everything in your body happens in the presence of water. Adequate water intake helps keep your brain and body running smoothly. Shoot for drinking about eight (8) cups per day or ~ two (2) liters of water.

Start your tax preparation day with 15-30 minutes of exercise to boost your body with plenty of oxygen. Follow it up with eating a healthy breakfast. Be sure to take time for a healthy midday meal and evening meal.

Every hour or so take a break. Take a walk outside or just do some stretches.

Sleep on it. If you are working into the late night and get hung up on some tax figures that aren't making sense....maybe consider giving your brain and body a rest. The solution to the problem may be more clear in the morning.

Easy on the caffeine (not more than 200 mg/day) and go big on the water intake.
